Step 1 - Install CloudBacko Go - Linux (rpm)

Note: Examples are from CentOS 7.9, GNOME v3.28.3, and rpm v4.11.3

Choose your operating system:

Windows macOS Linux(rpm) Linux(deb)

Step1
1. On the Cloudbacko website https://www.cloudbacko.com click  on the "Download >>" button.

Then click on "Linux RPM online installer" to download the installer.

Select "Save File". Click OK to continue.

2. Click on the “+” to add new backup set

3. Double click on the obm-linux......rpm installer file.

3. Select the Backup Set Type “MS SQL Server Backup”.

4. Click Install to proceed.

3. Select the Backup Set Type “MS SQL Server Backup”.

5. Enter your password. Click Authenticate to proceed.

4. Enter the backup set name, i.e. MS SQL Server (daily). Next select the backup mode, i.e. VSS. Then enter the MS SQL Server login details. Click “Next” to continue.

Step6
6. Installation in progress. Depending on your internet connection this could take a few minutes.

3. Select the Backup Set Type “MS SQL Server Backup”.

7. Installation completed.

6. Select a storage destination, i.e. CloudBacko Drive. Click “OK” to continue.

Step8
8. Locate CloudBacko Go in applications.

7. Select a storage destination, i.e. CloudBacko Drive. Click “OK” to continue.
